Our Gourmet Stops in Gaspésie

Where to eat (and grab a drink) between two breathtaking landscapes

Gaspésie isn’t just cliffs, lighthouses, and sunsets that make you question your place in the universe — it’s also a real playground for food lovers, cocktail enthusiasts, and fans of laid-back summer vibes. Here’s our food lover’s itinerary for the season, featuring some of our favorite spots that we wholeheartedly recommend. And who knows... you might just spot some Fove products on their summer menus soon. 👀

Kamouraska

Côté Est
A local, proud, and precise kitchen that isn’t afraid to venture where few dare: their seal loin dish is a must-try — wild, tender, and perfectly balanced. The menu changes with the tides and arrivals, paying homage to the sea and Bas-Saint-Laurent terroir in a setting that’s both warm and refined.

La Tête d’Allumette
You can’t go to Kamouraska without ending the evening at La Tête d’Allumette. Wood-fired beers — a rare and impressive process — and a terrace with an unbeatable view of the river… plus some wild karaoke nights. We’ve seen things. We’ll say no more.

Rimouski

Restaurant Losange
Refined, local, and intuitive cuisine, where the plates are as beautiful as they are flavorful. You can feel a real care for textures, well-executed sauces, and precise seasoning. Special mention to Vincent behind the bar for his delicate cocktails that showcase local spirits with finesse. A gem.

Chez Saint Pierre
Colombe St-Pierre offers a committed and poetic gastronomic experience, rooted in Indigenous and maritime culinary traditions. In the summer, there’s a no-reservation formula on the terrace with a more spontaneous menu — think elevated apéro or creative lunch. A must-visit in the region.

Sainte-Anne-des-Monts

Auberge Festive Sea Shack & Tiki Bar
Where the party never truly sleeps. Beachside bar, DJs at sunset, wild tiki drinks, and a lively crowd — the Sea Shack is part hostel, part bar, part grown-up summer camp, and a full-blown community.
Don’t miss the Fauve Mauve Festival, July 11–13, for the full experience: 3 days of music, art, and creative freedom with your toes in the sand.

Gaspé

Brise-Bise
A cozy brewpub popular with both locals and travelers, where comfort food (burgers, fish and chips, seafood) pairs with live shows in the back room. An unpretentious but always lively spot, perfect for wrapping up the day with friends.

Le Seaflower
A gourmet bistro with marine flair, showcasing local products in creative dishes. Their inventive cocktail menu, crafted with real attention to texture and aroma, is one of the most original in the region. Keep an eye on them this summer — they’ve got a few surprises in store.

Café Paquebot
A sleek, urban café deeply rooted in Quebec’s specialty coffee scene. Perfect for a quick espresso, iced coffee, or latte on the go.
For the curious ones: here’s a little hint — our next product might just come from a collaboration with roaster Zab... but shhh.

Percé

La Maison du Pêcheur
A restaurant housed in a historic landmark founded in 1969 by young activists (some of whom later formed the FLQ’s Chénier cell — you can still spot graffiti on the ceiling). Today, they serve well-executed classics focusing on seafood, in an atmosphere that’s both elegant and approachable.

L’Air Salin
This warm pub in the heart of Percé is perfect for long afternoons. Bistro-style dishes, a laid-back local vibe, and an excellent selection of microbrews — including those from Brett & Sauvage, a Gaspésie brewery known for spontaneous fermentations and rustic creations.

Buvette Thérèse
Cozy ambiance, precise cuisine, warm service — Buvette Thérèse is a culinary gem. Their blue cheese mussels with fries are an absolute standout — briny, creamy, intense, yet perfectly balanced. A stop you’ll never regret.
